Siemens VAI

Contraire developed a Realtime 3D application for various visualization imaging purposes based on the graphical programming environment VVVV. Industrial process simulations can be effieciently realized in the same way as architectural visualizations.

The application was first shown in action at the METEC, the 8th International Metallurgical Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Siemens VAI Linz used the tool to promote the sustainability and environmental compatibility of 6 Siemens VAI gas cleaning plants, which could be interactively experienced on a multitouch surface. User-controlled realtime particle simulations embedded into high resolution 3D models illustrated the functionality of the particular gas cleaning systems.
