Museum im Lavanthaus

In the course of the re-opening of the Museum im Lavanthaus contraire equipped the museum with several multimedial installations.

Beside the creation of 6 interactive applications contraire was responsible for the development of a 65-inch multitouch table. Its interactive surface, which allows multiple users to interact simultaneously, covers several topics concerning the whole region Lavanttal (Corinthia, Austria). Relief data and orthographical image material is processed to a three-dimensional map, which provides on the one hand a bird’s eye view of the whole region, but also acts as initial point of a journey through several stories and topics related to this region such as the the ecological development of the Lavant, the meaningful river crossing this area.
